My son typically wears a medium. Bought this in medium and it has a close, slim fit just the way he likes, but without being too small. If it shrinks very much in the wash this could be a problem, though.

The fit is not too roomy, but provides enough leeway for arm and waist movement.
Very attractive without the top-shelf price tag.
