They are high quality, well made, and very comfortable despite the height. The leather is soft, supple, and high end which reflects the original retail price of the shoe. I bought them in both colors--black and beige; so worth it as they are "on sale" at other high end department stores for much more. I will definitely be looking to buy Gentle Souls on STP from now on. They run wide.
