Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Decent Knife for the PriceReviewed by Harry from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 29, 2017I got this knife for $19.99 and I think that was a good value. There are synthetic components in the handle, and I don't know how they'll last over time, but the quality appears decent. The serrations on the blade are 1" long, so I don't know how useful that might be, but I bought it mainly for the smooth part on the tip of the blade. The blade safety release is in the top of the handle where it should be. I bought a similar Ruko knife for $7.99 at the same time, and it has safety issues with the location of the blade release. Though the Ruko seems like a sturdy knife (all metal construction) I consider the Gerber the better value.
