Sharp and Solid

Ordered this knife as an EDC and am pleased with the color scheme (Gold and Blue) and feel. The knife is solid and stable, no looseness at all. Also, it is very sharp. I didn't believe it until I ran it across my forearm to test the sharpness and shaved a strip of hair off of my arms.

About Gerber

Ingenuity. Moxie. Craftsmanship. Attention to detail. These are just a few of the company traits that contributed to the Gerber company’s emergence as a world leader in outdoor gear. Joseph Gerber got his start in the early 1900’s when he commissioned a local knife maker to craft cutlery sets for his advertising clients. The knives were so popular that Mr. Gerber left his ad agency behind and founded the Gerber Legendary Blades—a tradition of excellence that has since expanded into lanterns, flashlights, multi-tools, emergency kits, and sport utility kits. Engineered for tough outdoor use, Gerber gear is designed by people who know their stuff. Gerber’s rescue knives are designed by firemen. Tracking lights are designed by forensic scientists. Multi-tools are designed by mechanical engineers. You get the picture… bright people turning bright ideas into practical Gerber gear.
