Great Bike Shoe Sized Very Small

Complaints about this shoe generally relate to it being too small and narrow. Yep - it's true. • Great Bike Shoe Sized Very Small

Complaints about this shoe generally relate to it being too small and narrow. Yep - it's true. I normally wear a 9.5 street shoe and a very similar high end "Specialized" brand bike shoe I wear is a 42. I've been tactfully told that I have a "high volume" foot which translates to many shoes fitting too narrow. So, I ordered this Giro Terradura in a 42.5 and a 43 and the 43 is barely big/long enough. It's the only size 43 I own and it's exactly the same length as the "Specialized" 42. Like the "Specialized" bike shoe, it runs pretty narrow across the instep but the velcro strap allows enough adjustment. So, I recommend carefully looking at the size chart and subtracting a FULL size, if not more. With the right size, this is a great bike shoe.
  • Narrow

These could have been the deal of the century except they run so narrow that my narrow feet went tingly and numb on the test ride. They also run a bit small as I wear a 6 or 6.5 and needed a 7 for length.
  • Great Shoe, Great Price

I was so lucky to come across this sale! The shoe is very comfortable, I like that it does not look like a typical (shiny) spin shoe, and it fits the cleats/pedals I needed. Can't beat the price!
  • They do run small

My first pair of cycling shoes, so I have nothing to compare them to, technically speaking. They do run small--I would agree, size up a full size or even two sizes. They seem good quality, and I like the ski-boot style fastener.

Very stylish....I wish I didn't hAve to return these but they were too narrow and my feet went numb ...
