The fabric is very soft, and creates a ton of static when it comes in contact with bed sheets. If you have kids, fabric is similar to minky material. I normally wear a medium and ordered up to XL. Washed in cold and hung to dry, the fit is fine. Could not afford for them to shrink at all. Comfortable but I would not consider them to be terribly warm.
