3.0 out of 5 stars. Wish they fit betterReviewed by SuzieQ from Virginia on Monday, March 3, 2014I really like these......nice weight & comfortable, but they are too large. Bought a M/L which is in the range for women's size 9 shoe, but they are long enough to where the heel of the sock comes up over the back of my foot. I tried to shrink them, but not much success. Nice socks, but recommend downsizing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable!Reviewed by Anonymous from State College, PA on Thursday, February 20, 2014You can definitely tell you've got some extra padding going on. I haven't done a long hike but I've been wearing these with some uncomfortable brown semi-dress up type Sketchers and they've made that experience much better. Just wearing them with regular shoes all around has been good. Feet feel warm without being sweaty even when I change back into these after a workout.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Soft, easy to put on, medium warmthReviewed by CycleBird from Ohio on Monday, January 20, 2014These Goodhews are an excellent bargain. The Merino wool is very soft and the construction allows me to put them on and take them off easily. They do not droop. The padding is very good. I am on my feet in well-constructed 5" boots on bare concrete for hours, as well as transitioning to mid-calf boots outdoors in all conditions. These are not heavy-duty, thick boot socks but definitely do a very nice job of moisture control and, thus, keep my feet warm in cold-weather activities. I do not know how they would perform in static activities in weather below freezing. But I sure like puttin' them on in the morning!
