The best thing about them is that they are warm without being bulky. I can wear them in work boots as well as put them on when wearing casual shoes on the weekend without feeling like my foot is floating in a puffy wool cloud inside my shoe. They are very comfortable too, and really didn't get stretched out much or loose their shape in the years I've been wearing them. I wear them regularly through 3 seasons and finally just wore a hole in the heel of one sock. Highly recommended.
