Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kathy from Virginia on Tuesday, August 15, 2017I am 5'3", 135 lbs or less. My shorts and pants range from size 6 to 10. I've been wearing XL cycling shorts for decades, which has always seemed ridiculous to me, even with my somewhat heavy thighs. For cycling shorts, I like a heavy fabric, long legs and a tightness somewhat less than stuffed sausage casing. So . . . I wish that these Gore XL shorts were just a tad heavier, longer, and looser. But, knowing how hard it's been to find perfect shorts, I ordered a second pair after I tried out the first pair. They are quite comfortable; the medium-weight padding is not too bulky. How many stars should I give this lukewarm review?!

What more can I say??
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Swimmom from Michigan on Thursday, March 16, 2017These seems to be of good quality, but when I tried them in, the pad was very bullky. I am petite and Castelli fits me much better without the bulky pad.
