Genius quick-release "drawstring" arrangement that I can't say enough about. Casual pants that are the right weight for all but the most extreme weather. True to size as far as waist and inseam go. True black, so other "black" garments may show up a little gray with them. They feel a tiny bit short-waisted to me, but were easy to get used to and look great. If they didn't have the prominent tags and there was a place to stick the belt, they could be worn on dressier occasions, no problem.

Easy to climb up on and off the tractor, get down and weed, climb ladders- whatever. Only a 4 because they are a bit bulky and stiff. I know they'll wear and wash to better softness and hang better so it's ok.

Designated inseam length was 36", but only measures 35 1/2". For those of us who need every bit of a 36" inseam it's disappointing that they're too short. Have to return them.

I am a tall guy, and appreciate availability of 36" inseams. The cotton softens nicely with the years, and they will last years. I put these on around the house, casual wear, in the yard, around town, name it.

They fit well, the fabric is comfortable, and they are a great color. However, I don't think that I would buy them again. The first time that I wore them, I took a little fall and the knee ripped completely open. Believe me, it ripped more than you would expect from such a small fall. For a company that promotes their products as tough, I was extremely disappointed. I'll stick to my Mountain Khaki.
