The pants design has remained fairly constant. These are great weekend lazy day pants - comfortable like pajamas. My only complaint is that the inseam is too long for most people - 32”.

Material is a bit heavier/thicker than I was expecting. Based on that alone, I'd probably rather pack a pair of worn in jeans. If I was 20 years older I'd have kept them but just too unflattering for a younger/middle aged woman. Cut pretty big in the bottom so gives you no shape. Ladies - if you are younger or athletic, recommend Columbia brand for a more flattering and yet still practical travel/hiking pant. I do own the gramicci rocket dry pants which drape better, dry faster, and which I do recommend.

They are too big (size large) and the crotch sits several inches blow where it should be. Some might say this is the way the style is meant to be but I find it annoying. I’m pretty sure a size down would not fit over my hips. I bought it on sale and it’s not worth the cost of returning, Oh well.

They're big and sloppy. I unfortunately cannot find any local stores that sell Gramiccis, so I can't try them on. Other than that, they're well-constructed and tough and comfortable.

Everytime they come out with a new neutral color, I buy them. They're comfortable and last forever. As a woman nearing 60, I don't find jeans comfortable anymore. I live in Gramicci Original G pants.
