The side vents are cut high and closed with button tabs. Nice style feature; unsure whether/how this represents a practical advantage.

I am tiny, short and thin, and ordered a medium, expecting it would hang nearly to my knees, but it doesn't. However, the quality is so good, it launders well, so this was my 2nd order of it, because I've enjoyed the first one, too short or not. Those who don't want such length, perhaps for street wear, might find it just right. The sleeves are long though, so much so and so heavy that one can stick one's hands in them as a hand warmer. So, a large on me would be too much.

I expected this to be huge, as in fall well down on my thighs, because I wear an XS, and bought a M, but it's just large.

I intended to wear this caplet around the house but found it much too heavy to do so. I am a small boned woman who prefers my clothing and shoes to not weigh me down. However, the weight and weave density of this caplet make it very warm. So,it is better suited for outerwear as is a shawl or heavy sweater. It really is wear specific! I would add a front section tie/belt for figure definement as well as to prevent the wind blowing it up into the face...
    • Cons: Needs front tie, Too heavy for petites
    • Pros: Dense velveteen, Roomy, Well constructed
