These pants are an nice heavy weight organic cotton. They do have a touch of stretch and fit closer to the body so they look less boxy than some of the other trail pants. The material is rugged but they feel soft on the body.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Amy from Texas on Monday, August 7, 2017These may be the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. The stretch in the material is just enough to move with you, without stretching out so much that they're too big. The waist is a little smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it's stretchy so not uncomfortable. The pants fit almost like dress chinos, and I wear them to work all of the time. I definitely want to get them in more colors! I am 5'9" and 135 pounds. I have a pair in a size 6 and size 4, and I prefer the fit of the 4. One reviewer said there is a lot of material in the front area, and I definitely agree with my size 6. I do not have that issue with the 4 though.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cubecrawler from California on Friday, August 4, 2017These are nice for what they are. Grammicci makes great quality stuff, and the Tokyo Skinny 2.0 pants are no different. These pants are soft but the material still feels pretty sturdy.
My stats: 5'2"; waist: 35.5in; hips: 40in; bust: 39in
I ordered a 10 and while they did fit me, since I'm a hobbit they bagged up around my lower legs/feet. However, I think that is what you want, if you are going into tick country(with the warming planet, soon all over will be tick country). These are tapered at the bottom and will fit over an Asics running shoe with coaxing, fit over a sneaker well, and could probable be pulled around the tops of a hiking boot. These are a great product for hiking, but I'm lazy and like wearing outdoorsy tech clothes more than outdoorsing in them, so I returned them. I also like having pants with belt loops, and these pants have an internal belt so I can't clip my keys on like I'm used to. Also there's a bit of elastic in the waist, as well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Carrie from San Francisco on Tuesday, July 4, 2017These are roomy enough for me in the thighs and rear to feel very comfortable slipping in to, but not baggy. I wear them to work, but they would be trail friendly. Thick cotton material, but still very soft. The color is a light brown. With Gramicci, the quality is there.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nan from New Mexico on Wednesday, June 7, 2017Am always on the look-out for pants that fit without being baggy on my slim/skinny legs. These fit the bill. They still have some looseness in them, so probably wouln't be too tight on normal legs. Comfortable & very soft material. Seem well-made. Pockets is always what I look for & these pants have them, front & back. Like the velcro closure of the back pockets, rather than buttons.
I plan to wear them to work mostly, casual office-type environment.
