Sizing is odd, but the product's colors and quality are great. Deep pockets are a huge plus!

I bought these pants in Ampyra (like a khaki) and in black in size 8 after reading the reviews stating the pants run small, especially in the legs. I normally take anywhere between a 6 to 8, am 5'6", 135 lbs with a little waist, larger hips and big thick thighs. I was so happy to receive these pants in the mail, but when I tried them on, I could pull the pants off without unbuttoning or unzipping them - yikes! So I made another order with the same 2 colors in a 6 and also added in the purple pants. Both the black and Ampyra color were size 6, slim fit (did not know there was a "slim fit" - normally I never order anything slim fit). The Ampyra was a bit snug especially on my tree trunks for legs, but after squatting and sitting in them for 1/2 hour, they were oh so comfortable and perfect, even on the legs, without any gapping in the waist. The black was too short and too small - they're going back with the size 8s from the previous order. The purple pants were large in the waist and hips even in the size 6 (and tight on the legs, of course), but these were labeled "Classic fit". Weird classic fit. I wore them around for a bit and they stretched out enough to make me consider keeping them. Then, I wore them today for a day of work with a belt to cinch in the waist - after bending, kneeling, etc - and they were PERFECT. Nice deep pockets to hold my phones, great color - purplish blue - fabric is brushed and soft, unlike the coarser fabric for the slim fit pants - but the quality colors, and stretch could not be beat. Give these a try - if you're in between sizes and want a loose fit, size up, otherwise stick with your conventional size and wear them - they'll stretch well to fit your body without the tacky bagginess. They're worth 2x what I paid via STP....I think I'm going to be really happy with these both.
