Adorable, runs large, great price, sole better quality than upper

My dog didnt mind these at all... I thought she might tear them off. That alone makes them a keeper. The upper nylon is thin, clearly designed for all season wear, not specifically as a winter boot. Thats okay, I'm going to use as a winter boot anyway. The upper is also not very tall, more like a high top sneaker than a boot. I think a boot would be a better design because it would not slide down the dogs foot as easily. I bought the medium for my 45 lb coonhound/pointer and it seems a bit roomy, I definitely would not suggest going up a size "just in case". Funny... the product came with the return receipt from REI so clearly someone in Minnesota did not like these as much as I do. Um... but that Minnesotan did pay over twice as much as I did!
