My wife and I bought a pair of these to use as food bags for backpacking in grizzly country. I honestly didn't think they would hold up to being repeatedly stuffed with food and suspended from a rope, but they have. Extremely pleased!Verified Buyer Reviewed by ReeBee from Illinois on Thursday, July 27, 2017Great product. Roomy, folds very small and easily into provided storage bag. 100% waterproof. First time used it sat in a raft for 9 hours in 3 inches of water, nothing inside was even damp!
keeps the coat dryVerified Buyer Reviewed by kayakyak from Minneapolis on Monday, November 7, 2016Use this to keep a heavy coat dry and out of the way while duck hunting in my kayak. Very easy to stuff and buckle, with no water intrusion so far. I'd give it five stars if it had a strap on the bottom to make unstuffing easier.
Weight Saver & Waterproofing in OneVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sninkelletti from Lake Tahoe on Thursday, September 22, 2016I had the idea of putting my down sleeping bag in a waterproof stuff sack to make sure it stays dry. Obviously, this idea would extend to my wife as well. This solves both problems in one, as this sack is easily big enough to hold BOTH our 30 degree bags together, thus eliminating one stuff sack and two potential moisture issues. Seems like great construction for the very low weight.
Perfect Food StorageVerified Buyer Reviewed by Klondike Kat from Yukon Territory, Canada on Wednesday, August 3, 2016This is a great size for storing 6 days worth of food - it seems very sturdy and is light weight. Great value for the money!!!

Surprisingly ToughVerified Buyer Reviewed by Canyonman from Montana on Friday, September 5, 2014My wife and I bought a pair of these to use as food bags for backpacking in grizzly country. I honestly didn't think they would hold up to being repeatedly stuffed with food and suspended from a rope, but they have. The buckle appears to be the weak link, and I expect it to be the first thing to fail. But, who knows, these sacks have surprised me so far. And, they have weathered a number of storms without leaking.

“We are planing a thru hike this summer and want to buy dry bags for the sleeping bags, but we are not sure what to buy. The sleeping bag stuff bag dimensions 18x9. ”
These bags are pillow shaped. If your sleeping bag has any compression this bag may work . Being the bigger width dimension of the dry bag is already the width of your sleeping bags stuff sack, maybe a 25L might be a better choice?
