Gregory Fit Guide
|Torso Length (inches)||14 - 16||16 - 18||18 - 20||20 - 22|
|Torso Length (cm)||35 - 39||40 - 44||45 - 49||50 - 54|
Note: Using a flexible tape measure or Gregory Fit-O-Matic, measure the length of your torso from the C7 vertebra (at the base of your neck) to the spot on the spine level with the top of the boney hip structure called the iliac crest. Do it two or three times to get an accurate measurment. If you are between frame sizes, always go with the smaller size.

Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Aksailorjerry from Alaska on Wednesday, June 3, 2015I picked this up for 11 year old son after he borrowed his mother's and loved the fit. I know it's a women's pack but how much closer to female can you get than an 11 year old? Besides the color is perfect for a young hunter. All kidding aside it fits him very well and it will serve him until he matures and grows into a "men's" size pack. At the close out price you can't go wrong.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alan from Minnesota on Thursday, April 30, 2015Very ideal for long hiking trips. plenty of space for all of your gear and straps to attach equipment on the outside. Four star rating because a sturdier frame is preferred, but I couldn't pass up such a great sale price on a clearly quality backpack.
Reviewed by RB from California on Monday, January 5, 2015Pack carries ok, but the side pockets hold very little. They're just not built big enough so you can't zip them up w/ much inside them at all. The little net outside pockets down below are also fairly useless, small and tilted to the front. This is the first internal frame back pack I've ever bought. I do prefer the external backpacks and am used to carrying a lot in the side pockets. I'm 5'7", 132 lbs. I stuffed my sleeping bag into the lower inside area and attached my tent and pads below on the outside. So it's a little awkward to stuff your sleeping bag in, if you did that every day, instead of into a stuff sack, since you have to lay the pack flat. It's not the most comfortable back pack but not the worst I've worn, either. I am worried about breaking the plastic clips but have only packed with it 2 trips of 3 nights each.

This item does not have a rain cover.
“Can STP confirm the packs you are selling online do not have the defective hip belt? What is the warranty coverage?”
To the best of our knowledge these do not have a defective hip belt.
We do have a satisfaction guarantee you can view here: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/satisfaction-guarantee/
“Hello, I understand that there was a defect in a batch of this model of backpack that went out, that caused the plastic near the rivets in the hip belt to crack and break, resulting in several people winding up part way through a several-day hike with a fully loaded pack that no longer had a useable hip belt. It's also my understanding that Gregory realized this and recalled the backpacks from the batch that was affected by this defect. i just purchased this pack from STP - is there a way to confirm that these specific packs weren't part of that recall? I plan to use this on a month-long hike this summer and don't want to end up with a broken hip belt in the middle!
Thanks so much!”
Sorry, I know nothing of this defect or recall! I have only backpacked with it 4 times so have had no structural problems. My biggest complaint is that the side pockets aren't made big enough so you can't fit much in them and still get them zipped up.
