I bought this pack as a replacement for my daughter, who lost her old one in a fire...she hasn't seen it yet..but I can say it Looks like a great day pack with lots of room for gear if you wanted to do a over night hike. I love my Gregory day pack...I'm certain she'll love this one

I am 5'3 and 125lbs with a very short torso. This is the first pack I've found that fits well. The CrossFlo suspension is so nice and does what it promises. I've hiked with it in temps above 92 degrees and it certainly keeps my back much more cool and comfortable. It is super comfortable and rides well up steep inclines and descents. The hikes I go on tend to be pretty strenuous, usually with elevation gains greater than 2000 ft in less than 3 miles. It doesn't pull on my shoulders and sits well at my hips, with the weight distribution comfortable. I use a 3 L hydration bladder in it and it fits well in the sleeve. I have yet to need the included rain cover, but after taking it out and playing with it, it appears to do a great job fully covering the pack when I have it fully loaded. Do not expect to get into all the great internal pockets/compartments quickly when all the straps are in use and snug, however I don't find it a problem as I want all my gear to be well protected and stowed safely. It stows my hiking poles well when I don't need them. Great product for the price!

Perfect color and size for women. The bottom of the bag designed to be opened directly into the core bag which is so convenient. The bag also included a rain cover and the material is good.

Fits my 100 lb, 5'2" frame perfectly. Has lots of nice features/pockets but don't expect to get into most of them quickly if the straps are all snugged and buckled up. I bought this pack for the crossFlo suspension which does seem to be cooler, but haven't fully tested yet because I've only worn it in mild weather so far.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
