  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Gregory is the best

I have a larger jade 38 and needed a smaller daypack, I had been looking at this pack and when it dropped to $75 on clearance there was no reason not to get it. I picked up a Jade 22 size small I use as a purse/toddler gear bag and noticed it felt too small compared to my size medium. Make sure you pay attention to the sizing Im 5'4" and about 150 lbs and the medium is a perfect fit! Gregory's customer support cant be beat either, they stand behind their product. I tried on a lot of brands of hiking packs when deciding on my larger Jade pack and carried 40+lbs in it over 21 miles in rough terrain. These packs are amazing and fit like a glove. The only thing i might change is the while I love everything teal, the color is pretty intense and may be better served with grey/teal instead of teal on teal.
I really appreciate the design time they put into getting the women's fit just right! Don't hesitate get it while you can, its a steal at this price.

I purchased this pack primarily for airplane travel. My husband has used a similar pack for years and travels frequently. He loves his pack. Took this on my first trip this weekend and it worked great. Plenty of room for a couple changes of close and toiletries. Really comfortable to wear and even fits under the airplane seat.
I look forward to taking out on the trail, too.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice color, like all the pockets

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
