Perfect! But...

Just the right size and fit. Very easy to adjust to the amount of stuff packed in it.
The only issue I had was with the pockets on the belt they were just a bit out of reach and hard to get into easily. Also, I couldn’t reach the side pockets at all when I had the pack on.

  • Nice design but not all that comfy

Really like the design and pockets and easy access to things but the fit wasn't great. I didn't realize it until I tried on a friend's pack that weighed the same as mine, but felt a third lighter because of how it sat. I definitely recommend actually getting fitted for a backpack if you can.
  • Handy and high quality

I like the pockets all in the right place, rain fly built in and other handy features. It's a great size and attractive.
  • Perfect pack for the short and curvy

Yo, LOVE this pack. I had many packs before. I travel a ton with my packs and use them for hiking and trekking. Most have been poor fitting men's packs for several reasons including colors and that I couldn't find any good deals on women's packs. And the fact that women's packs didn't fit me any better anyways. Until now. I bought the size XS and it fit perfectly! I am 5'2" and 130 lbs. I was able to have the hip belt at my waist hip (finally) and the sternum strap didn't crush my [...]. Love the color (ruby red). And it looks great wearing it unpacked, which is important for me because when I travel, I unpack the bag and use it around town for carrying just a few things. Got a great deal from Sierra (thanks!). I am giving it only 4 stars because I haven't used it yet, but I expect I will really like this pack and it might deserve five stars. Attached some quick low quality photos, because I know you love them, of the pack empty.
  • Finally a pack that fits
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Happy hiker from Wyoming on Monday, March 27, 2017
I've been looking for a pack that fits for years. I've got a fairly long torso (19 inches) and none of the women's specific packs have been long enough, while the men's packs have always chafed my arms. This pack actually fits! It's moves extremely well with my body, and the suspended back panel allows for lots of air to hit my back (not as much as a Stratos, but still a lot). I'm not typically a huge fan of top loaders, but because this pack has the zippered way to get in from the front, I'm pretty happy with it. The pack also has a few more organizing options than the Stratos, which was my second choice and was my fallback plan.
My only complaint is that I have the load lifter straps already maxed out, and I could use a little but more to tighten with. Other than that, it's fantastic! And the color is pretty.

My torso is exactly 16in. I'm 5'1, petite. If i fall between XS/S, what size do you recommend? Comfort is my priority.”
Asked by Spain Travler from NYC on 7/11/2017 3:59:10 PM
    • Both would be able to work for you based on your torso length. I would suggest deciding based on whether you would prefer it to be a bit larger, or a bit smaller on you.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
