Just received it, and took it out for a test. The color in the photo is off; it is not yellow but an electric lime green. Excellent product. Materials and features are great. I am 6'1" and to have the hipbelt rest on my iliac crest the straps are pretty high on my chest, this might bother some taller hikers. I wanted a day pack that had an actual padded hipbelt as opposed to just straps to keep the pack from swinging around during scrambles, and this pack is it. Suspension is great, and the mesh back panel should keep you cooler and drier in hot weather. Researched it, and it got a great review from Outdoor Gear Lab. Straps for poles, ice axe loop, and lash straps to carry a pad, or other gear. Definitely recommend.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
