This is the most comfortable backpack I've ever worn. It feels like I'm being hugged by a monkey when wearing it. Lots a thoughtful features and a rain fly, to boot. Very stable on rough terrain and the CrossFlo DTS suspension system actually keeps my back dry. Highly recommended.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Well made, quality backpack

I was looking for a backpack to try ultralight backpacking and came across this pack. The size was right what I was looking for so I took a chance on it. This is an excellent, well thought out back. Very well made and lots of smart features and external loops to attach hiking poles and the like. Having the side pockets on the hip is wonderfully convenient. The pack also fits very well. Highly recommend it.

I am 5'7'' and the medium size backpack was perfect. Have used several times and really love the bag. Only complaint, is not enough small pockets/sections within the backpack for smaller items - otherwise very comfortable and love the bag and color.

I bought this to mainly use for trips and to take stuff commuting to work. I ran 7 miles with this pack to work and it felt really good for that big of a pack running. Great quality and the stretched mesh backing is a nice touch.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
