We bought this for two larger senior dogs (yellow lab 75# & mixed breed 65#. We like the way it compactly folds up, way better than the last one we had that fell apart, and is wide enough that the dogs don't panic. The only issue that we had is that it was too slippery for the old girls. We ordered some non-slip tape (colored black & yellow stripes for increased visibility, 2" wide) and now it works. We use for the dogs to get in our travel trailer since it is just too much of a hop and the steps too tricky.
  • Too steep

This ramp is nicely lightweight and folds conveniently (and stiffly--I had to put my foot on one part to fold it, but that's okay). The grooves provide good footing for dogs. However the ramp angle is too steep for elderly dogs (specifically, a BC/Lab mix). Maybe if you back your car up to an incline you can get a better angle, but this was a disappointment for me.
