Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laurl from Alabama on Monday, May 8, 2017This kettle is lovely and will look great in my new office. It heat water faster than the stove on high. Easy to use and it does make noise from the boiling water. The lid in plastic and the instructions read like you have to be really careful with it. The instructions also suggest pouring the water out after every use and you have to fill the kettle to above the top of the dome because the heating element is in the dome. None of this is a deal breaker for me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from long island, NY on Sunday, January 1, 2017This is the BEST water kettle ever. Heats water super quick, faster than on my gas stove using a conventional teakettle. A friend has one of these and when I used it, I loved it. Usually they are a lot more pricewise so this is an excellent value. Highly recommend this item. you will NOT be disappointed.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PJD in Denver from CO on Thursday, December 29, 2016A very functional and wonderful item. Makes hot water in a jiffy!
Reviewed by Mirandamom from SLC, UT on Friday, June 10, 2016I love these kettles. When my first one died I replaced it with a Cuisinart kettle and immediately replaced that with another Capresso. The only drawback I can think of is that lime deposits are very evident because of the glass. But the solution for that is super simple-- boil a kettle with several ounces of vinegar in the water, followed by a kettle of plain water, and everything sparkles again. One thing to be aware of though, the current price on this ($70) is exactly what I'd pay at a local store.
Reviewed by Tea Lover from MA on Tuesday, October 13, 2015We've had this teakettle for about 3 years. It has never leaked, boils the water fast and is aesthetically pleasing. It has survived very heavy duty use!
