This is the fourth Haglof item we have purchased from Sierra. We are traveling to Antarctica in December, so we needed waterproof pants. We used our jackets for a northern European cruise...they were the best for cold and damp weather! We really like the is very flexible and soft. Th... Read More

Haglofs obviously makes great quality gear which can be had for a great price from STP. However, the sizing of all of their gear is way off. I tried an xl and xxl when I usually wear a L or XL in some cases. I am 5'10', and around 230, and wear a size 36 in most clothing. These pants are way to tall and narrow in the legs and waist. I could squeeze into the XXL but the thigh was too restrictive and the legs hung way past my feet and these were not even a tall size. I really wished these had fit but unfortunately they did not.

These pants are awesome. Hands down the best quality ski pants I have ever had, skiing last season in these pants was awesome, they were great going up, and even better going down because they breathed incredibly well as well as being non-restrictive. On sizing these pants are definitely slim in the leg, but not in an obtrusive way. The suspenders are nice, especially because they allow you to size up waist wise, I am 6 foot, 180 lbs, with a 32 inch waist, and while the large fits to loose around my, the pants fit nicely everywhere else. One thing to be mentioned though, rain will soak through these pants, especially when sitting in a chairlift. The sad truth is that while gore-tex does an awesome job with shedding falling snow and even slush, it just can't take a downpour, as I found to my dismay, so while they are awesome fairly waterproof pants, don't expect perfection on the waterproofing side, because to get the incredible breathability and movement you have to sacrifice rain protections, which really shouldn't be that big of a deal, since the rock at shredding pow.

I'll admit it: I am a gear geek. And I also get an immense amount of pleasure finding great deals on choice products. I am an avid snowboarder, snowshoer, cliimber; I also do search and rescue. So when I strayed from my beloved OR and Arcteryx by buying theses pants for snowboarding, I was worried. Well, add Haglofs to my favorites list. These pants are sweet! At first sight and touch, you know they are a quality 3 layer gore tex pant. The waterproof soft shell stretch material performed better than expected. Having just spent a full day out snowboarding in the mountains of Washington State, I was comfortable, warm and dry. And the best of all, I didn't have to fuss with my pants one bit. The fit, while slightly snug for my typical size, is perfect because of the stretch material. They fit like a well-worn boot by day's end. The Kolibri Blue is an okay color. More green than I had hoped. But function before fashion, always. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. But that would be super-gear geeky.

Love this company. I purchased these ski pants last year. Got daughter this winter and now my husband owns a pair. Love the swiftness inside.roomy n comfy. I am 5"4' 125 pounds, normally a medium for comfort. I had to return for small. My husband is a solid XL and ran small. Had to get 2XL. Overall fantastic price for quality gortex garment

Really like these when they arrived, but I could not find a fit. I'm 5'11 and about 190. In The larges were too tight around the waist and the XL too long. The quality seems to be there if you can find a fit!
