Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jten0892 from Salt Lake City on Saturday, January 12, 2013I bought this to wear as a base layer for snowshoeing, skiing. I ordered a small, as that's what I usually wear. The small was so tight I could barely get it on and off. It felt like an extra extra small, so I exchanged for a large, which fits perfectly. This was without anything underneath, so if you already wear a large, you may need to avoid purchasing at all.
I've worn it snowshoeing several times and it is a good top layer to keep cold and wet out. It is way too cold without anything underneath. This was in twenty degree weather. It's really cool looking, if you are a little stylish on the slopes. Not sure it's worth the price, but I wanted to treat myself to something that is different than the typical layering clothing.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by doxy lover from MN on Sunday, December 30, 2012This is a great looking jacket. Fits well but order up a size.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alaskan Skijor Chic from Fairbanks, Alaska on Saturday, December 15, 2012I bought this to try as a jacket for skijoring & skiing in Fairbanks, Alaska but I don't think it will work. It is very small (I normally wear medium or large and I bought the large). Not much will fit underneath it, it is more like a base layer than jacket. Also VERY thin & light weight. It might be good in 40 or 50 degrees but not in Alaska where my normal winter temps are minus 20F to plus 20F. I think I will return it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sticklady from New England on Friday, December 14, 2012The fabric is thin, so it is really more of a shirt than anything else. I usually wear a large and the X-large was a little too small to wear over anything other than a really thin shirt. It is stretchy, so I could wear it, but prefer a looser fitting garment, so I will return it. I hate to send it back because it is a beautiful shirt.
