This jacket is well-made, but very light. It could be used in mild climates, or as a layer. Not for cold-weather areas. Fitted jacket. Returned due to small size.
I purchased an EX Large. I'm 6'3", and 225 lbs.

I'm 6'2 185 and an XL is the right size for me. I like vests to fit snugly so that I can get a base layer underneath and it wouldn't have happened in a large. The vest sits a few inches below the waistline but it doesn't look unusually long. it's very lightweight as you'd expect from Polartec and not bulky at all. Another excellent piece from Haglofs.

Haglofs' sizing is ... different. This vest is also pretty long to start with, so when it finally fits your width, it is longer than a typical vest. I bought size L for my husband who is 5' 10" and 180 lbs and had to send it back; ordered XL and 2XL (just case). Good I did, because if you normally buy L, and you are not the very tall and trim individual, go for 2XL! There is a little bit of bulging around the arm pit openings, but overall it is a good thin layer to use under a shell jacket.

Well made light micro fleece. Perfect for just a bit of extra core warmth. Should be ideal on its own for cool weather hiking or running. Or layer it under a soft shell for a bit more insulation for cold weather aerobic activities. Also great for taking the chill off if your workplace is on the cool side (which is where mine is seeing a lot of use right now). Fit is European and it is a snug piece and it is nice and long in the torso. Large fit my 1.93m cyclist's body just right. If in doubt check Haglofs size chart: http://www.haglofs.com/en-US/products/clothing/layers/mid-layer/men/iso_vest_en-us.aspx

This is my second Haglofs piece, the first was a great quarter zip that fits me (6'2'' 200lbs man) great in size L. This vest in size L is much too small and tight. The fabric is much lighter and thinner than my Northface windwall fleece vest. I returned within 10 minutes of trying it on. Not the quality or size I was looking for.
