Reviewed by Jenn in Alaska from Anchorage, AK on Saturday, July 13, 2013Water beaded off this coat. It blocked the wind. Mosquitos couldn't get through! I really likes the pit zips with 2 zippers each & the front pockets that are easily accessible even while backpacking. The Velcro at the sleeves, the drawstring elastic around the back of the hood and the visor on the hood were also very useful.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by MariaLee from Salem, Oregon on Thursday, December 20, 2012Used it for casual wear in a heavy rain. Great protection. Nice hood. Haven't had it out hiking yet. The high chest pockets are odd for a woman's coat. The access is above the breast but the pocket is deep, hanging under the breast, a little wierd! I bought a large, normally wear an 8-10. I have long arms, the sleeve length was great. The back of the jacket is longer than the front so you have some booty coverage.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Stretch from Pasadena, California on Friday, December 7, 2012I thought the color was fun, sleeve length really good for wet weather, but I want my rain jackets to cover my hips and keep my bottom dry, and on me it stopped three or four inches short. I would only recommend this for rain purposes to someone who is maybe 5'5" or under.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Ambassador from new jersey on Monday, September 10, 2012So far I haven't had a chance to test it in the mountains but when I wore it in the city as a raincoat the water just rolled right off. It kept me dry and warm without making me too hot. Love all the zippers.
Only small point to note is the pockets are high up (chest level) and I hadn't been expecting that.
Looks good, great fit, arrived promptly!
- Best Uses: Hiking
- Pros: Double-zip, Lightweight, Stylish, Water Rolled Right Off
