This is a great jacket and offers excellent wind/water proof comfort. It is a workhorse - great for a hike or can wear to work on a rainy day. The coat is comfortable with a fleece with temps down into the 20sF. I'll be curious to see how it stands the test of time, as I would expect it to last at t... Read More

I bought this jacket 1+ years ago for my husband and he says it is the best of all the outdoor jackets he has ever had. My old Mountsin Hardware gore-Tex jacket was getting worn and I wanted a jacket like my husband's Haglofs for women had some great jackets but they were short compared to the men's jacket and so I bought the men's in medium. I am 5'10" and weigh 157 and the jacket fits very well except for the arms, which are longer than mine. However, the sleeves have a really good wrist closure that makes the longer length manageable. Great looking and great price!

The quality of this rain jacket is amazing. Features, pockets, liner - all first class. Can see why it was originally priced at nearly $400. One thing I noticed is the zipper is left handed, which takes some getting used to.

This 5-star review was earned two days after arrival for ordinary walks in the rain. That may seem premature, but the five stars is for the unbelievably good design of the jacket and the extraordinarily care and quality in making it. Somebody really thought about what people need when they're facing the rain. Getting a 50% discount makes it less expensive than jackets that aren't half as good. The extra length of the jacket is one of the best features. Tired of a wet butt? Tired of whatever is in your pockets getting soaked? an extra few inches length can make quite a bit of difference. The pockets and closures are atonishing. Plenty of them, big, and zipped. Some with double zippers. It's not quite obvious on the image, but the long, off-vertical flaps you see that are almost the full-chest length conceal two zippers on very large pockets. The hood is excellent in that it is adjustible in any number of ways so it can be set to do what's needed and likely stay put. I'm a big fan of the type of meshy lining the jacket has because it makes it much more comfortable and you barely feel any motiion of the jacket against you. My only caveat is that since the jacket is fairly light, I wonder how well it would hold up for a lot of bashing through bush and forest. Since everything about the jacket's design is so excellent, I'm willing to give it benefit of any doubt.

I have been buying Haglofs gear from Sierra for the past five years - the brand represents the best of the best as far as outdoor gear goes and the Tundra 2 does not disappoint. The longer length is a nice feature of this one. Lightweight, well built.

This is a light weight jacket, got the large…more like XXL. I was swimming in it. I got a pair of snow pants from Hagloff at the same time in L, those are great. So I returned this jacket and took a chance for a L Hagloff winter jacket, sizing was perfect on that one. Quility seemed great though.

  • “Does this jacket have pit zips?”
Asked by Vinnie from California on 8/23/2015 1:59:27 PM
    • No, it does not have pitzips. It's doesn't aim to be a truly light weight shell that you would use in warm/hot temperatures. But it is light enough so that it doesn't heat you up as much as you might expect, which makes the range of conditions in which it is useful better than I had expected.
