Reviewed by snowshoe from Virginia on Thursday, February 6, 2014I am a pear shape and these pants gave me an ideal fit. They seemed true to size based on the sizing chart on the site. Perfect day out in the snow in these pants.
Reviewed by Sconi05 from RI on Sunday, August 4, 2013Ok, let me start with the fact that I have a few Haglofs items & love them- and I also love shopping with STP! They have excellent customer service! That being said, however, they definitely dropped the ball with this listing!! I ordered my usual size Medium (8). When I received the Proof pants, they said "MEN'S" right on the tag sewn into the pants, and they were huge!!! Needless to say I was bummed! Returning was easy peasy with STP's wonderful staff and they covered shipping both ways due to their error. But I did still want the women's version of them. So they checked their warehouse for me and found that the listing was incorrect. All of the Haglofs Proof pants that they had in stock, were mens pants. At that point, they said that they would fix the listing, but I found it still listed couple of months later. Again I had them check, but they only have men's Proof pants. So if you're looking to purchase these, I suggest you at least call to have STP check their stock first. Hope this will prevent someone else from having to go through what I did!
Reviewed by Gordana from Bethesda from Maryland, but skiing in Colorado on Sunday, March 10, 2013It was so hard for me to find a ski pant in Petite sizes! When I saw that these were offered in Petites, I promptly ordered a pair. They fit well, were comfortable when I tried them at home, but I didn't want to rate them before I tried them in action, on the slopes. Well, now I can tell - they are just perfect! Since they don't have much of a lining, I wore them with fleece leggings and that was more than enough. They are truly wind-proof and water-proof, so not once was I cold in them. And I skied at 12,000 ft and higher in CO! I guess, that "Proof membrane" does the trick.
I just wish STP would always include the inseam measurements and carry more pants in Petite sizes!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Stretch from Reno on Saturday, February 9, 2013I purchased the large long. I usually wear a 10 . I am a 36in inseam and these pant are just long enough. The inseam on the large is 35 1/2 in. There is plenty of room for a base layer and the adjustable waist band works well.
I think a medium would have been too short and too snug in the thighs for an athletic build.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by sparkopotamus from Huntsville, AL on Wednesday, January 16, 2013I have a Haglofs gortex jacket and was so impressed by the quality I opted to purchase rain-proof pants by them as well. I've had the jacket in several downpours and stayed dry as a bone...on my torso and arms...clearly the need for waterproof pants exists so I bought these!
Zippers work very well and there are lots of pockets (not all pants have them). The side zippers go from the ankles (which have elastic tighteners) all the way up to the hips! Two front pockets and one rear pocket, all roomy.
