5.0 out of 5 stars. Superior hikerReviewed by Debkakes from santa cruz CA on Wednesday, June 13, 2018Really cute --- fabulously comfortable for big hikes. And waterproof. The Vibram sole kept me steady on rocky paths, while the waterproof upper kept my feet dry through the boggy bits. I hiked many, many miles in these in Wales and Scotland and could not be happier.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Hikers, but ...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maine on Sunday, April 8, 2018Well made, nice looking hikers. But I didn't keep them because they were heavier than I wanted, and the fit wasn't right. I like a medium to wide shoe, and these were too roomy - especially above my toes.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Order 1.5 sizes smaller than usualReviewed by Figs from Colorado on Friday, January 5, 2018Got them today. I usually wear a size 9. Ordered size 7.5 then worried it may be way too small but it's just right. I like roomy toe box and overall good fit. First time ordering this brand. Will give it a shot. Thanks to all reviewers who recommended going 1.5 sizes smaller... you were right!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Finally Got a Pair That Fits! ++Verified Buyer Reviewed by Debkakes from Santa Cruz on Wednesday, December 27, 2017It took three tries, but I finally got a pair that fits --- DEFINITELY go 1.5 sizes down! I usually wear an 8.5, and settled on size 7. The shoe fits quite well, and the toe box is thankfully wide enough. Due to the Vibram sole, this is a stiff shoe, but I'm counting on it to get more comfy. I may try a different insole, as the arch could be higher. So, not a perfect shoe, but I love the magenta color and I'm hoping it is indeed waterproof and has good traction.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Can't get the right size!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Debkakes from Santa Cruz, CA on Saturday, December 16, 2017SECOND return of this product. I'm trying *one* more time to get the right size.
These run EASILY 1.5 sizes large. i usually wear a size 8.5, nope. Tried 7.5. Nope again. Maybe 7 will work?
I know it's a European brand, but can it be that hard to label correct sizes?
I really like the Vibram sole and the look of the shoe (I ordered Magenta). We'll see if the smaller size fits shortly...er, longly...er, just rightly. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Not the same HanwigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Farm wife from Ohio on Wednesday, December 6, 2017I bought a park of Hanwig about 4-5 years ago that are now completely worn out. They were great quality and made in Germany. These are not built. To same quality. Cheap materials and they run really big. If you want to give them a try you need to order whole size smaller. I did not care for the color either.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing is not in womens!Reviewed by MJ from Seattle, WA on Tuesday, December 5, 2017I ordered these in a 9, I'm usually a 8.5 or 9 but I went bigger cause I thought I'd use insoles in them. The side of the box clearly says UK size 9, US WOMENS 10 !!!!!! I obviously returned cause they were more than a full size too big. Buyer beware, its in UK sizes, not US sizes. Go down at least a FULL size. Not sure why STP doesn't list the US sizes.........

5.0 out of 5 stars. Runs LargeReviewed by MountainView from Boston, MA on Saturday, November 18, 2017Ordered these in 10 (my usual size) and they were a half-size too large. Unfortunately, they no longer have the 9.5 available, so missed out. Otherwise, I'd order them in a heartbeat.
