  • Great boots

Got these for my husband. They appear to be durable, waterproof, comfortable, and ready for many adventures. I was unfamiliar with Hanwag, but they appear to be a great company based out of Germany and are known for quality.
  • Leather lined hiking boots

These are great, made with high quality leather, have narrow heal and relatively wide forefoot; the sizing is creative; a size 11 US podiatric association approved Sole insole fits exactly in size US 12 shoe. The leather lining is more comfortable and makes for much dryer feet than the waterproof liner type boots.

Non-marking sole with good traction. Used 79 inches of 420 para cord for shoes laces; these run through the ball bearing lower eyelets much easier than factory shoe laces.

Have very good arch support. My plantar fascia has greatly improved since I started wearing these boots with Sole insoles.
  • Comfort, durable, and well-made

I got these boots for my husband a few months ago. He has worn them only a few times, due to our lack of hiking in winter because of the extreme cold, but he reports that they are comfortable, fit great with his wool socks, are waterproof, and appear that they will stand up to beating over a long time. Great German-made boots.
  • Quality Boots

Impressed at the great quality of the Hanwag boots. Excellent price through STP. My normal shoe size is 11, I got these in 11.5, a bit tight in the toe box but with each wearing it loosens up. Very nice glove leather on inside and durable leather on outside. I expect these to last a long time since the soles are resoleable although even these will last a long time. Thanks.
  • Looked Awesome

These are substantial hiking boots! The construction appeared to be good. They didn't work for me as even though I were an 11 in some boots, these were 1/2 size to big and they didn't have any other sizes available.

  • “What is your return policy? i'm not sure what size i am in boots. ”

    • You can order with confidence. I’ve returned around 14 pairs of shoes, some pants, socks, and iirc a shirt -all for size / fit. Just be aware that the next size might be out of stock by the time you change your mind.
