I have not skied in these yet, but the product is exactly as described. There are several adjustments and no manual so you'll have to google the web for how to make them. The boots fit true to size so if you are a 9 and want a little extra size you should go up half a size.

I haven't had a chance to ski in them yet, but they are fully featured. the toe box is okay in the width, but I think I can stretch that with some heat. my biggest concern was my larger than average calves, and the amount of adjustability allowed me to make it work. the footbed looks supportive enough with a hard heal cup so i won't need to buy a separate insole saving at least $40+. overall happy with it so far, but the real test will be later.

  • “Are there any particular bindings that are best to pair with this boot? Are we likely to be able to find a lot of compatible bindings (with the hiking release) for these boots? ”

    • We do not have a specific binding that is recommended for this item. These should be able to work with most bindings.

About Head

Ever since founder Howard Head developed the first laminated metal skis back in the 1950s, the Head sports equipment company has continued to innovate better and better products. From alpine skis to snowboards, tennis racquets to snorkeling gear, this brand is committed to producing the absolute best equipment in the world. Introduced in the late 1960s, Head tennis racquets were the first to feature aluminum frames, an innovation that quickly became an industry standard before carbon fiber and advanced fiberglass composites. Today, Head skis continue to be the choice of World Cup ski racers, and the company now offers a full line of Head snowboards for freestyle and all-mountain riders. Jump ahead of the curve and take your sport to the next level.
