Portion size and calories better for 1-2 than the advertised 3. No problems with rehydration in the bag - make sure to use the appropriate amount of boiling water and quickly stir to break up dry ingredients before sealing the bag. A long spoon is helpful since the bag is relatively long and thin. My son liked it better than me (a touch high on sodium), but it's comparable in quality to the better known Mountain House and Backpacker's Pantry products. Will buy again.
