  • Great Boot

Comfortable and true to size; no need to order a bit large to guarantee fit. Polish up well to wear as uniform footwear with no detracting marks or logos.
  • Not what I expected for Hi-tech

Not the quality of boot I was hoping for. I’ve worn Hi-tech boots for years a s these are cheaply made. Great if you were looking for a a light weight boot, but just not what I’m used to with quality and comfort that I’ve been used to. My last pair of Hi-tech boots have lasted 10 years but the sole finially wore off. I don’t expect these ones to last long as all.

I was skeptical about an economy waterproof hiking boot. I have never used a Hi-Tec product before, but because of a very painful problem with a too tight fitting hiking boot, and three border collies that have to go somewhere EVERY day, I bought this boot for my daily excursions. It has proven to be a excellent choice. Just today I was slogging through ankle deep slush and water and the boot was 100% waterproof. I did the same thing last night and the result was the same. Plus they are warmer than comparable products, and are rigid, but not too rigid under your foot. They fit roomy, with a wide toe box. They are very easy to get on and off, as the boot opens wide for foot insertion. They look, so I have been told, like nice boots. From the wearers perspective, when you look down, it seems like there is too much give on the inside of the shoe, a phenomenon that I have witnessed with other " economy" shoes and boots.

I really like these boots and I will try Hi-Tec products in the future. If you can find a pair I would order them.

  • Best choise for wide feet

I bought these boots for my uncle. They look and fit good. Uncle said they are great work boots (he is a builder). They are comfortable for wide feet, truly waterproof, easy to clean after work.
I bought 8,5, his feet are 10,5 inches or 26,5 cm.
Good quality for best price. Thanks STP!
  • Quality boot

Purchased for my son for hiking. He wears them to work (fiber optic installer) when it is super cold because he says they keep his feet warmer than his work boots. The only down side is they pinch his ankles when he has to stoop down at work. They work great for family hikes in Tennessee mountains.

About Hi-Tec

After retiring from the Dutch Air Force and moving to England in the mid-1970s, the enterprising Frank Van Wezel decided to create the world’s first pair of Hi-Tec shoes designed specifically for playing squash. The idea was a hit, and it wasn’t long before Frank’s company had grown to include a full selection of Hi-Tec boots, shoes and sandals. Today, after nearly four decades of footwear innovation, Hi-Tec hiking boots, tennis shoes and sneakers deliver the best mix of support, comfort and style for people who live for adventure.
