Worst shoes ever

These were returned! The exterior shoe design is extremely sturdy which could hold up to a lot of tough terrain when hiking but the comfort inside the shoe is a whole other story. The toe bed is EXTREMELY narrow. I tried these in my true size & 1/2 size up but I had the same issue with both. When I tested one pair, I got about 1/2 mile before my feet were killing me. My toes were so squished in & swollen that I actually lost a pinky nail so no more hiking for me for a few weeks. Totally bummed out (*two thumbs down*). I usually do 10 miles a few times a week on concrete road with a steep incline but I got a mile total away from home before I had to turn around & that walk back was super agonizing! I can see why a lot of people love these but I guess they have narrower feet than I do. I would try Hi-Tec again as they are a great company but this shoe was a total loss for me.
