  • A little big...but

I wear a 6, but ordered a 6.5, since I read that these run a little small. Based on my foot, I think they probably run pretty true-to-size. The 6.5 is long in the toe box, but thick socks will take care of that, so I'm glad I got the 1/2 size up. If I'd ordered a 6, they would have fit perfectly, but I would not have been able to get wool socks in them for cold-weather hiking. So far I've just worn them around the house. They feel a little stiff, but that may be just because they're brand new. I'll update later, after I've been able to wear them outside.
  • Very Nice!

I've just purchased these shoes and have only worn them twice on a hike. There great! Size is right on. Very comfortable and stable. Seem pretty durable as well. Time will tell I suppose.

I have needed a new pair of shoes for walking my dog, we do about 5 miles a day on varied terrain. My Keens have gotten torn and worn so I was looking for something similar. This is my first pair of Hi-Tecs and I think they will work. They are wide enough and I can fit an insert into them for arch support. I got my usual size, 71/2, based on reviews and they are perfect. They are rugged but light weight. Thanks! Just keep making them the same way, ie, don't change manufacturers all the time.
  • Good quality for price

Fits true to size. I ordered an 8.5 originally since everyone said that they fit a bit small. I usually wear 7.5 to an 8.5. I ended up sending them back and getting a 7.5 which fit great. So they fit TRUE TO SIZE. They look nice and seem to be good quality for the inexpensive price. I was looking for a type of shoe that had the comfort of tennis shoes, but the cool look.

About Hi-Tec

After retiring from the Dutch Air Force and moving to England in the mid-1970s, the enterprising Frank Van Wezel decided to create the world’s first pair of Hi-Tec shoes designed specifically for playing squash. The idea was a hit, and it wasn’t long before Frank’s company had grown to include a full selection of Hi-Tec boots, shoes and sandals. Today, after nearly four decades of footwear innovation, Hi-Tec hiking boots, tennis shoes and sneakers deliver the best mix of support, comfort and style for people who live for adventure.
