Verified Buyer Reviewed by michaelenmass from MA on Thursday, June 30, 2016I'd been searching for men's sandals that were truly sturdy, reasonably in fashion, and, most important, affordable. These Hi-Tec Shore Sport sandals are prefect!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by dmaerz from North Carolina on Monday, June 20, 2016These were bought for my teenage son to replace his Keens. We have had good experiences with Hi-Tec boots and thought we would give these a try. Upon arrival, the sandles appeared sturdy and quite stiff. They fit as expected and the synch strap allowed for a snug fit. Wearing the sandals around the house, they broke in quickly and were comfortable. Our first two experiences with light hiking were also positive. On the trail, they provided general support and comfort, with the toe cover was a benefit for protection against stubbing. While creek stomping, they were very good. They are waterproof and provided traction on slick rocks and sand/silt stream beds. This week they are going to Boy Scout camp, so we will have a better picture of quality and durability soon.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Big Johnson from Colorado front range on Tuesday, June 14, 2016Good shoe for water related activities, but too warm for casual wear because of the neoprene linings. Fit seems true to size and the quality seems very good, too.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Disappointed from Michigan on Thursday, June 2, 2016This is a very narrow sandal that offers no way to adjust width. The heel bed rises sharply causing the heel piece to dig into the wearers heel.

I wish I knew the answer to this. They appear to be non-marking, but my son does not wear them indoors. They are his summer camping shoes and rarely see the indoors.
These are not specifically listed as non-marking.
The width of my foot from the ball to the other side is 4.5" If you mean the width of the shoe across the top, that is: 6-3/4" across the top of the shoe in the same location as the foot measurement. Let me know if I can be of more help.
I don't think these would be considered watershoes. They are leather line with neoprene. I think they would be fine in the rain, or some splashed of water, but I wouldn't wear them in a river...
These are not waterproof.
It is a synthetic and textile upper.
