5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Shoe!

First, you can't beat this price. But, this shoe was comfortable right out of the box, Nice, sturdy feel without being clunky. Great tread, good grip in all directions. Haven't had the chance to see how the waterproofing is, but I'll probably treat them anyway just to make sure. I normally wear a 12, but had to exchange for a 13 -- they run a bit small for me.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid Shoes

I've only had these shoes for a couple weeks, but have worn them every day. They are well constructed, and solid - so they aren't exactly "light-weight", but I appreciate that they are solidly built and give the appearance of being long-lasting shoes. While wearing them on a long drive in a vehicle with no air conditioning, my feet became uncomfortably hot after several hours, but wearing them on a hot summer day outside was no problem.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice sturdy, but light shoe.

These are nice for kicking around the house doing housework, and everyday use, and short, < 3 mi walks. They are quite sturdy, and will break in more over time, (and I am >225lbs). Just what I was looking for. I am glad I tried them. I ordered a half size bigger, and that was the right choice. Out of the box they were very tight, and I had to take the laces out and stretch them by hand, which helped tremendously, and then they started to break in.

Looking for a water resistant shoe for early morning dew. They seemed to do the trick.
