They are well constructed, and solid - so they aren't exactly "light-weight", but I appreciate that they are solidly built and give the appearance of being long-lasting shoes. While wearing them on a long drive in a vehicle with no air conditioning, my feet became uncomfortably hot after several hours, but wearing them on a hot summer day outside was no problem.

They are quite sturdy, and will break in more over time, (and I am >225lbs). Just what I was looking for. I am glad I tried them. I ordered a half size bigger, and that was the right choice. Out of the box they were very tight,and I had to take the laces out and stretch them by hand, which helped tremendously, and then they started to break in.

Cons: as you walk, the soles feel like they fold in the same place with every step. Its very annoying. I've never had a shoe do this before. Also, they are a bit on the heavy side.
They were inexpensive, so its not worth the effort to return them, so I'm going to donate them to Goodwill. -
