Verified Buyer Reviewed by jmorrow from Ohio on Sunday, November 23, 2014I ordered one of these for myself and liked it so much that I decided to get one for my father-in-law for Christmas. Larger than a typical duffle bag. The pocket sizes and placement are perfect. I especially like the compartment separation, allowing me to keep my worn clothes separate from those not worn during the trip. A great buy for the over-packing weekender as this bag will easily hold a week's worth of essentials.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by TigerMom from CT on Monday, September 1, 2014I bought this for my high school son to go to summer sports camps. It will work..barely. It's smaller than I would have liked, but it has enough side pockets to keep the important stuff separate from the clothing [e.g., deodorant, radio, tooth brush, medicines]. Seems sturdy but have not tried it out yet. Great color and easy to pick out from the numerous black sports bags. Wheels average--I've seen bigger, but with care, should last.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by A from NYC on Wednesday, August 13, 2014This is a great bag, been traveling for a month with it and the different compartments, lightweight design and ease of use were just what I was looking for. When taking the bag upstairs, the straps worked easily to put it on my back, and otherwise I've been rolling it easily. Additionally Sierra Trading Post was great and the bag came very quickly!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ema from Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday, July 24, 2014High Sierra makes excellent luggage. It has a true sporty look yet it is very sturdy and strong.
We travel all over the world with High Sierra luggage, and it lasts longer than our expensive Tumi Luggage that we have.
Great deal, great quality.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tina the traveler from Ohio on Tuesday, July 22, 2014I am a light traveler so I was pretty surprised just how spacious this is. I bought it to use for two weeks in Africa. I think there will be enough room for two adults to use. It's lightweight and easy to roll. So many compartments! One thing I love is that I can separate the handles and use them as a back pack. Yay! Free hands for coffee!

“Can the bag be locked?”
Not really. It's two zipper ends coming together and there is not an easy way to lock them [connection is very small]. This duffel is better used for car-type travel where you are "with the bag" until you get to your room. Sending through an airport would have to have faith it would not be opened.
“I am looking for luggage for. 2 week cruise. I like this size and the compartments, but I wonder about the side support. Will this hold up to having several pieces do luggage stacked on top? The airlines are pretty brutal!”
I have never been on a cruise before, but it is a very sturdy bag. I think it depends on how you pack your bag and the other bags.
I have packed this bag to the fullest and it maintains it's shape very well.
I am not sure what other type of luggage you have, but if it is flat or so, it should stack well.
