Second pair of Hokas, and even better than my first. I like how they added padding to the tongue, and made the shoe easier on boney feet. Same quality and true to size fit. I'm a fifty-something runner, and Hokas comfort and padding have made running comfortable for me again... don't worry about the... Read More

Great shoes, a hair narrower, but also a bit more stable than my previous pair of HOKA Rapa Nui 2 shoes. Only have about 60 miles on these, but they are doing everything my old shoes did, and also do it better on the road. I wasn't sure how I'd like the blue color, but I found I really like the color and the change from what I normally go with. I really wish they were just a bit wider across right where the bottom of the laces are. They length is great, and is the normal size I wear.

They are good for long distance. Legs get less tired. I feel like I could keep running. No wonder these are very popular among marathoners and triathletes.

This pair of shoes is very comfortable, fit, I like to use them to run in the road, relative to other running shoes, they can lead to speed up relatively limited.

For all you supinators out there with bad knees, this is the shoe for you. It feels like I am jogging on a sponge! You have good roll off of your heel to toe even on rocky terrain. The heel strike is more to the inside of the shoe rather than the outside. They hold their grip pretty darn well. The only time I had grip issues is while going up a STEEP incline that is filled with rounded fist size, and smaller, size rock. I am not sure ANY shoe could hold that. The fit is true to size. Be advised that the toe box is a bit narrow for all you that have a need for wider toe boxes.

  • “I've read they run narrow. Is there a wide width?”
Asked by Cathy from Florida on 8/6/2016 1:35:15 PM
    • No, there is not a wide width for the Clifton2. Apparent the Clifton3 that just got released was built with a slightly wider toe box because runners have been begging for it so long. Most Hokas are a bit narrow, so your best bet is to go up a half size, though you still may have some toe rub if you have wide feet. I belive the Bondi 4 (?) is the only Hoka to date that was also released in a wide width along with standard.
