These are the only shoes I've found that let me walk 4 to 5 miles a day without back pain. I usually wear an 8.5 in an athletic shoe but the size 8 fits fine. I bought two pairs to alternate (per my trainer) and so far so good.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who presumably has overtrained as an instructor at an indoor cycling club. She's had plantar foot pain for many weeks now. She liked my Hoka One One Stinton running shoes which are a size too small for her. The Hoka One One Constant is different from the Stinton in that it's not as padded on the bottom and has a larger toe box. We returned the Constant and bought the Stinton in her size. She likes the Stinton and the shoes seem to help her problem.

I sized down a half a size from my regular running shoe size. This model has a wider toe box which is great. Unfortunately the heel is a little wider than what i need but i am not slipping out so they stay in my rotation. There is no extra eyelet to lock down the laces in order to tighten up the heel cup.

I bought these on the advice of my orthopedist. I have wide feet with arthritis. The constants have a wider toebox than the other hoka models, and come with two different insoles, to allow for further adjustment. Their new take on a "rocker" works for my arthritis. They are surprisingly light as well.

Hoka sizing on this model is running bigger than their other models. The toe box is redesigned for a roomier fit, and based on Runner's World info, I ordered a 7 which is a half size smaller than what I usually wear in a running shoe. My normal dress shoe size is 6.5M. I am also a pronator so was looking for a stability shoe, which these are. I found the size 7 to be too large for me overall and the heel slipped when walking in them. Otherwise I love the cushioning of these shoes, including the padded tongue which is not a feature in all Hokas. I am returning them for a 6.5 and hoping for a good fit. I plan to use these primarily for walking as at age 63, my knees and hips do not thank me for running anymore, and my standby Saucony's don't give me the resilience that I now need.
