another narrow toebox

i have a lot of Hoka shoes, and i try to make sense out of why they have so many different models. i have no interest in collecting different model Hokas, i just want one that fits and has great cushioning. i think what Hoka does to think up new designs is tell the factories to take the sole of one pre-existing shoe and take the upper off another then throw them together. the Odyssey is probably a Clifton 1 upper combined with a Bondi 3 sole. so what results is a narrower lighter Bondi 3. or a heavier, ? narrower , more cushioned Clifton 1. this is good
for me because i have a narrow foot and the Bondi 3 only works for me with a double layer sock and/or an extra inner sole, otherwise a Bondi 3 would be too wide. The Odyssey also has another shoelace eye to cinch down the heel, which is also good (and not on the Clifton 1). But if you have a wide foot you may have trouble with the Odyssey. Note the very thin tongue on the Odyssey - i like it, some people do not. i suspect the Odyssey has more toe box room than the Valor, the Valor having the most narrow toe box i have ever encountered with any size 12 shoe in my life. i am 62 years old.
i wear an 11B USA dress shoe and the Odyssey in a size 12 and with a thin running sock fits me perfectly. i run 5 to 10 miles a day, weight 175 pounds, and train in Hokas but race in Zoots.
