Closeouts. The Hoka One One Vanquish 3 running shoes deliver a springy, responsive ride that's perfect for long-distance runs when comfort and cushioning are crucial. Decent HokasReviewed by BellasMomToo from San Francisco, CA on Friday, September 28, 2018I normally wear a size 6B and buy 6.5B running shoes. Based on other reviews, I ordered the Vanquish 3 in a 6B. As others have said, these shoes are a little longer than normal and a little narrower. These 6Bs fit fine -- the length is long enough and they aren't too narrow. A 6.5B might be too long.
These Hokas don't have the cushioning like my previous Hokas. (But the retail price of the Vanquish 3 is a lot lower than my other Hokas so that may be the reason.)
Not up to usual HokasVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cyn on the road from Houston on Monday, August 6, 2018I have several Hokas. These do not have the large pull loop at the heel or extra insole to tailor the fit. The upper fabric is cool and comfortable, and the outer sole is quite nice. The reviews are that the shoe runs long; however, I did not find this to be accurate. I had to Return these.
My First HokaReviewed by Jody from Vancouver on Thursday, July 26, 2018This is my first pair of Hoka's and I am totally impressed! So comfortable. About the fit, I wear an 8-8.5 shoe, I always go with an 8.5 in a runner so my toes have wiggle room. I would say this shoe is slightly longer than your average 8.5 runner (compared to New Balance) but not enough that I would return them. I have a slightly wide foot and I cannot wear these runners with a thick sock. I exchanged the pull out sole with my thin orthotics, switched to a thin sock and they are perfect. I love that I can feel the air flow through the front keeping my feet cool. I recommend the Wigwam Ironman Lightning sock from STP with these shoes. I bought a pair for my Dad for his birthday, he loves his too.
Run "BIG"Verified Buyer Reviewed by Fitmom from New Orleans on Tuesday, July 17, 2018I love these shoes but be sure to try on somewhere before ordering online. I ordered a half size smaller, could have probably gone a full size.
Run bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jenn from Salem, IN on Monday, July 16, 2018I normally wear a 10,5, but they were too big, sent for a 10, still are sliding on my heel. Soft but responsive shoe.
Now my feet are happyVerified Buyer Reviewed by PenEWise from Oregon on Monday, July 9, 2018So light and comfortable: like stepping on clouds!
disappointing lack of cushioningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Quinn from MA on Monday, July 2, 2018I bought these because they had the same Hoka One One "plush" rating as my Clifton 3 shoes which I love - the softest support I have ever had in any shoe, which makes a huge difference to my feet and my knees. Well, to my surprise, the Vanquish 3 feels like just about any ordinary running shoe - no wonderful soft cushioning. I double-checked the Hoka One One website, and yes - top comfort rating "plush." SO disappointed! Will have to return them - which is a nuisance and not without cost. Plus of course I ordered three other items I did not need in order to get free shipping. So, kind of an expensive lesson for me :(
Great comfortable runnerVerified Buyer Reviewed by CatAZ from Arizona on Sunday, June 24, 2018I run about 25-30 miles per week in these shoes and have to say they are so comfortable. I have been running in the Hoka Arahi which I love and saw these on sale so thought I would give them a try. I only have about 150 miles on them but they seem to be holding up well. I am pleased with my purchase and these are good to swap back and forth with the Arahis.
excellent shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by senoir from Delaware on Friday, June 22, 2018a podiatrist recommended Hoka's to my husband and now I can get a great brand at an amazing price. These fit great. Only wish they had more colors so I could purchase more.
