I didn't find it tight in the toes, the way too small a size would fit, but they seem to grip the heels and pull at my socks. I like them and would buy a pair in another color if it was available.

Also, seems to be my luck lately, but they sent me the wrong color. They were nice looking, but I was buying them as work shoes (I'm a massage therapist), and they didn't seem to have as much arch support as I had hoped. I returned them and just ordered another brand of shoes today.
