The window is a nice feature, allowing you to see inside the bag without having to open it. I can't speak top the durability of the bag, as I have just received it. The denier fabric seems like it should hold up well over time.

Bought five of these, one for each person in my family, prior to our recent BWCA trip in northern MN. The idea was to pack these as a liner inside the portage packs and/or individual backpacks. Worked great! When stuffed with clothes, you could remove all the air and pack them incredibly small inside the packs. At night, the bag could be sealed around the clothes, a little air could be added and they worked great as a pillow! No disappointment in the valves and construction. A couple of times I had to tell my kids not to sit on them so heavily to evacuate the air - if they were ever going to lose their seal, it was then. But they didn't. Thrilled with this product and highly recommend it for any activity where your gear could get wet - backpacking, canoeing, etc. On a final note, love the see-through front. Made it so easy to locate gear/clothes inside the bag - much better than traditional dry sacks and dry bags.

This was a great buy. It feels like great quality and after filling it with air and closing the value it does hold the air with no leaking. I even think it could be used as a makeshift float device.. I would absolutely recommend buying when you can get a deal on it like on Sierra Trading Post.

.I bought this item b/c i had to see it in person, I was curious about it and wondered if it would be useful on my upcoming trip to Europe. Actually, I cannot think how I would use it, at this pt I consider it interesting but not necessary.

Super light weight, compress AND waterproof your gear for a float trip as well as your big puffy jacket for that ski trip. I bought two of every size of these bags. Great value from STP on a versatile product i will use on every trip, save space and keep stuff dry. Just perfect!
