Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nat from Brooklyn, Ny on Monday, July 4, 2016I love this wetsuit. I bought a shortie version at my local surf shop for more than the one I got on here. At this price I would buy two! Wetsuits generally run small. I'm a size 5/6 and I have the 10 and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'4" 140 pounds i have a small chest but I have hips.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pharmanimal from Motherlode on Monday, May 30, 2016I won't be using this for a few months, so all I can comment on is the fit. Amazingly, it DOES fit more or less. I have a long pear-shaped torso, short limbs, and my excess weight is concentrated in my hips and thighs. The suit was very hard getting over my calves and thighs, so the crotch is a little bit low (but I'll lose a few pounds before September...LOL). I agree with another reviewer that the zipper could be a little longer. This is a size 14 which corresponds to my pants size, but I'm size 10 or 12 on top. My shorty is snug on my thighs like it should be, but the top is so loose that you could climb in there with me. So I am thrilled that this suit fits so well. And can't beat the price for occasional use.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by outdoorsy from Colorado on Saturday, May 21, 2016Great value, especially for canyoneering, which is what I want it for. Super stretchy. I have not tested it for warmth yet. I got a size 10 and I am 5'8" and 124lbs. It is a little tight in the shoulders if you have broad shoulders, but otherwise fits well enough.

I would assume so. I bought it for canyoneering though. It isn't super warm, so beware if you are using it in very cold water. I was still pretty cold in it in slot canyon water. It is only a 3/2mm. Nice suit, super stretchy and a great value.

Yes. Works great for surfing. My local surf shop actually stocks this brand.
Great early season full length suit for surfing :-) -
You could use this for surfing if you choose.

A size 8 is a 33-25 bust with a 27-29 waist; size 10 being a 37-39 bust and 30-32 waist. Based on your bust size and weight I would go with the 8. As you stated, your concern is the arm and leg length. This particular item does not come in a long version. We do carry a few "tall" suits. In a 3/2 we do have an 8T in an Excel Infinity suit - at this time very limited quantites. The price is quite higher.

Yes, some wetsuits come in longs, but are hard to find. I found that I had to go up two sizes from my normal clothes size to get a decent fit. I normally wear size 6 and got a size 10. I too have long legs and arms and wider shoulders. This suit really stretches which helps. The arms are a bit short, but good enough for canyoneering. I also tried a men's small in another suit and it fit nicely in the arms and legs because it was slightly longer. This particular suit does come in a men's version which might work for you. I almost sent it back to get the men's version, but didn't have time.
