    Though I have only washed this mid-weight blanket once, it came out beautifully, and cannot speak to true longevity. I love how it feels, how it looks, how it lays on the bed, the weight is not heavy so not a stand alone blanket for winter but I was just so sad to come back to purchase another king size for future only to find the queen size..I bought it for the guest bed and it is perfect for any time of year where we live.
