Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by GSP Mom from Upstate NY on Saturday, November 16, 2013Can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear them more. Quality is excellent as expected of the Ibex brand. Fit is true to size in my case. People on the smaller end of a size range might want to size down since wool isn't as stretchy as Lycra and doesn't have as tight of a fit (eg, I am on the larger side of the medium range and a size medium fit perfectly). I definitely wouldn't size up.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by sfhahn from napa, ca on Wednesday, January 9, 2013either the padding is too big or the wool can't hold the padding tight - fit is super weird in the crotch. Maybe try a size smaller...
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Fair weather biker from Bellingham, WA on Monday, December 31, 2012These are the MOST comfortable bike shorts ever. They stretch but don't have the shiny Lycra look. The matte black fabric doesn't stand out, making them perfect for running errands. The rather stiff chamois is softening with wear - but was not super comfy right out of the package. Love them so much I'd buy them anyway.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ely Woman from Ely, MN on Friday, December 28, 2012Other reviews said the chamois seemed stiff. It is a little, but seems comfortable to me. I like that the short itself hugs enough, but is not too revealing for some tummy bulges.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Retired from ND on Tuesday, December 25, 2012Good 3-season bike shorts. Being wool instead of lycra, I bought one size smaller than I get in most bike shorts and they fit good. Also, the chamois is still rather stiff even after a couple of washes. Quality-wise, it's hard to beat Ibex wool products.
