As a bowhunter, I need quiet camo. This jacket has proved to be very warm on its own. It also layers well when more is needed. It is also SUPER quiet which is a must for bowhunting.

I am 5'3" with a 34" bust and I ordered an XL. The sleeves are a little long, but other than that it fits ok as a jacket, meaning that it covers my butt, and is not as short as it is in the picture. I am unpleasantly familiar with how Icebreaker usually sizes these things, which is why I ordered an XL. If I had gotten a size that was ostensibly closer to my body measurements, I feel confident that it would not have fit over my humongous 37" hips - because they never do. Other than the poor fit, it's pretty nice. The interior is fleeced like a sweatshirt, except under the arms. It's incredibly warm - wore it camping and slept in it and didn't freeze in 30 degree temps. The hood is lined and snugs around your face which keeps your neck warm. There is a chest pocket which is too small for a phone. I do not hunt so I can't comment on its serviceability for hunting.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how luxuriously warm this jacket is. It is much more substantial than the Quantum hoodie, but it still is a great layering piece. I got the XL, which I worried would be too big, but it is a fitted cut that does not look boxy. Well worth the money! I will be wearing it all winter.
